Brad Berthiaume / Doran
Brad started playing Dungeons and Dragons when he was 14 with AD&D. He has been an avid player his whole life and designs homebrew content in his spare time. Doran is a gnome seeking out corruption in the 'deep.
Chris Tulach / Gilly
Chris was born clutching a d20 in his right hand. A self-made Dungeon Master at ten years of age, Chris has spent the last 35 plus years tromping around countless worlds of fantasy. He works as an Event Marketing Manager at Wizards of the Coast, and lives in Burien, Washington with his partner sorcerer Kat, their dog ranger Tofu, and a new adventurer on the way.
Jason Megatron Burrows / Max
Jason discovered D&D in 5th grade, when his church pastor's son introduced him to "Satan's Game." He played a barbarian named nosaJ, and defeated many goblins in his first "campaign."
His passion was reignited when Penny-Arcade partnered with Wizards of the Coast for the first set of D&D 4e podcasts, and has been playing ever since.
He has lived in Seattle for 17 years, he's a radio & podcast producer, and lives on Capitol Hill with his awesome roommate & a cat named Meow.
Kat Kruger / The Countess
Kat learned to play D&D with the introduction of 5E at a gaming convention through her future partner, Chris. The game has now taken over her life. She teaches workshops and camps for kids using D&D, and is DM on the actual play podcast d20 Dames. Her D&D adventures from d20 Dames and Adventurer's League can be found on DMs Guild. When she's not rolling dice, she works as Chief Wordsmith at Steampunk Unicorn Studio writing books, comics & games.
Sam Heckman / Ledger
Sam started adventuring at a young age, watching Tiamat on the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon and playing with awesome 80’s toys like the Fortress of Fangs. He spent five years in marketing at Wizards of the Coast, which included promoting new D&D releases and in-store play. His hobbies include exploring castles and recreating the house from Betrayal at House on the Hill in real life.
Talia Armato-Helle / Selene
Talia has played D&D since 2005 when she was introduced to the game by friends. She’s learned many a lesson in her adventures, most importantly not to split the party and don’t question the DM. She works at Wizards of the Coast in Trade Marketing. Her partner in crime and life is none other than the handsome Fletcher Helle, the DM of the adventure you’re about to experience. Enjoy folks!
Dungeon Master
You find yourself in a tavern...
Fletch Helle has been mastering dungeons since he first picked up an AD&D book almost 20 years ago, mainly because everyone else wanted to play. Since then he's honed his story-telling craft, becoming almost okay at it. On a good day with the wind at his back, at least.
